UAE nationals restricted from traveling to South East Asia
Kathmandu: The United Arab Emirates on Thursday has issued restrictive ban orders to its citizens saying that they cannot travel to South Asian countries such as Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Srilanka, and Vietnam.
The UAE has also said its citizens cannot travel to a few of the African countries such as Namibia, Zambia, Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa, and Nigeria, citing the reasons for increasing threats of Covid-19 pandemic.
The UAE’s Foreign Ministry and the National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority said that the citizens need to abide by the preventive measures for Covid-19 with the start of the travel season.
