Six flights per week to be operated from Kathmandu to New Delhi
Kathmandu. A total of six flights a week will now be operated from Kathmandu to New Delhi, India. At present, there are two flights a week to New Delhi, India.
According to General Manager of Nepal Airlines, Dim Prasad Poudel, New flights will now be operated from Kathmandu to New Delhi on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Air India will schedule flights from India. Earlier, the fare for New Delhi was very expensive as there were only two flights a week and seats were not available.
The corporation has stated that the increased flight will be implemented only from July 24. The flight is being operated as per the air bubble agreement between Nepal and India. Nepal had proposed to add flights to the agreement.
The number of flights has increased since the proposal was approved. According to Nepal Airlines, there is no possibility of immediate flights to Bangalore and Mumbai in India.
