August’s international flight schedule made public, 67 flights per week

Kathmandu: The international flight schedule has been made public with a total of 67 flights per week throughout August month of 2021.  

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Nepal Airlines has 15 flights a week and Himalayan Airlines has 13 flights a week. This schedule will be applicable throughout August, 2021. Companies licensed in countries opened by the government in the first phase will fly to Kathmandu.

According to the authority, Nepal Airlines has been allowed to operate one daily flight to Doha, Qatar. Newani is allowed to fly to Dubai International Airport twice a week (Monday and Wednesday), to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia twice a week (Tuesday and Friday), to New Delhi, India three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday) and to Narita, Japan every Thursday.

The Himalayan Airlines flight will operate five flights to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Himalayas will also operate three flights a week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday) at Dubai International Airport.

The Himalayas have been allowed to fly to Doha, the capital of Qatar, five times a week (Monday-Friday), according to NEA. Air India will fly to Nepal every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday from New Delhi, the capital of India. Fly Dubai has been allowed to operate three flights a week from Dubai on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Jazira Airways will fly to Nepal every day from Kuwait. Korean Air will fly to Kathmandu every Wednesday. The Malindo Air flight will arrive in Kathmandu from Kuala Lumpur on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Malaysia Airlines has been allowed to fly from Kuala Lumpur to Kathmandu every Saturday.

Qatar Airways has received permission to operate two daily flights from Doha, Qatar to Kathmandu. Salaam Air will bring ships to Nepal from Muscat, Oman on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Turkish Airlines will fly to Nepal on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Singapore Airlines, on the other hand, is allowed to fly to Nepal every Sunday.
