Nepal welcomed 6000 tourists in August
The department said, this number of foreign tourists is almost double than the previous month.
The visitors came to Nepal from 33 countries including 2192 from SAARC countries, 1015 Europeans, 1244 Americans, 416 from England and 253 Chinese as compared to arrival of 2192 Indians in the last month.
The tourism industry of Nepal which is hit hard by the adverse impact of Covid-19 pandemic seems to be getting momentum with this indication of increased number of foreign tourists.
