International flights increased with start of tourist season

Kathmandu: With the start of new tourist season, the international flights have suddenly increased and Nepal Civil Aviation Authority has made public the international flight schedule for the month of September.

According to the new schedule, there will be 10 flights a week from Kathmandu to New Delhi, the capital of India. Of these, Nepal Airlines will operate one flight daily. Indian flag carrier Air India has been allowed to operate on this route three times a week (Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday).

Air Arabia has been allowed to operate two flights a day from Sharjah Airport in the UAE. It is mentioned in the schedule approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal that Air Arabia’s plane has been allowed to come to Kathmandu every day even from Abu Dhabi.

The Fly Dubai flight will arrive in Kathmandu from Dubai International Airport with 10 flights a week. Himalayan Airlines will operate six flights a week (except Mondays) at Kuala Lumpur Airport in Malaysia. The Himalayan flight will operate at Dubai Airport six times a week except for Friday.

Himalayan ships have been allowed to operate a total of seven flights a week from Qatar’s Hamad International Airport. Jazira Airways will take one flight from Kuwait to Kathmandu every day. Korean Air has been allowed to come to Kathmandu from South Korea every Wednesday.

Malindo Air will fly from Kuala Lumpur four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday). The flight of Malaysia Airlines is coming to Kathmandu from Kuala Lumpur every Saturday. Nepal Airlines will operate one flight a day to Hamad International, Qatar.

Nepal Airlines will operate four flights a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday) from Dubai International Airport.  Even at Kuala Lumpur Airport in Malaysia, Nepal Airlines has been allowed to fly four times a year (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday).

Nepal Airlines flight will leave for Narita, Japan every Thursday. Nepal Airlines will fly to Hong Kong Airport every Tuesday. Qatar Airways has been granted three daily flights to Qatar’s Hamad International Airport. Salaam Air’s flight will arrive in Kathmandu from Muscat Airport three days a week (Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday).

Turkish Air will fly to Kathmandu on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Singapore Airlines is allowed to operate two flights a week every Sunday and SriLankan Airlines on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The schedule made public by NEA will be effective till September 30.
