Glimpses of Diplomats’ sojourn in Pokhara
Pokhara: On the occasion of World Tourism Day, ambassadors and distinguished diplomats from 11 different countries have visited Pokhara and its surroundings.
At the formal invitation of the Gandaki state government, the diplomats, who have been in Pokhara since Sunday, have participated in the trek, boat ride in Fewatal, local food festival, and Aarti of Bindwasini temple.
Here is a glimpse of the visit of the diplomats. The visit was attended by ambassadors of Qatar, UAE, Finland, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Germany, and other heads of diplomatic missions, including the Secretary-General of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC).
