Shuklaphanta National Park resumes tourism activities
Kathmandu: The Shuklaphanta National Park has resumed all tourism activities with abatement of Covid-19 cases in recent days.
The park has been reopened for visit by domestic and foreign tourists, after a long hiatus due to the spreading spree of Covid-19 in the country.
Chief Conservation Officer of the park-Dil Bahadur Purja Magar divulged that jungle safari, jungle walk, rafting, camping, fishing, and other touristic activities have resumed in the national park. except for elephant safari.
The park had remained closed for almost five months for safety after a surge in the Covid-19 pandemic.
The visitors however should comply with all safe health measures such as the use of sanitizers and masks, while touring in this park, added the park officials. The tourists should also move around the park with an assigned guide for jungle safari, jungle walk.
