Downpour for three days to continue

Kathmandu: Sporadic downpour for the next three days across the nation is likely to continue owing to the impacts of the low-pressure system in Andhra Pradesh and the Odisha coastal area.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Forecasting Division, the adverse impacts of the weather will continue to remain the same for the next three days.

The Forecasting Division also said that some areas will see heavy rainfall accompanied by storms. There is also the possibility of light to moderate snowfall in some of the high hilly and mountainous areas.

The division has also cautioned the general public to remain alert against the adverse impacts of the rainfall.
