Nepal enlisted in top 10 countries to visit in 2022
Kathmandu: Lonely Planet’s newly released book, “Best in Travel 2022” has enlisted Nepal as one of the top 10 ranking world’s must-visit countries, cities, and regions in 2022.
The 17th edition of Lonely Planet’s book has listed the world’s best and hottest travel destinations with particular emphasis on sustainable travel choices-ensuring a positive impact as travellers return to the road after a long hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic that had almost crippled and collapsed the world’s tourism industry.
Lonely Planet’s book is published when the world is mulling over re-engaging with the travel again. Nepal has been ranked 8th hottest destination in the book. The book describes Nepal as the popular Himalayan nation in which are cradled 14, 8000-meter mountain peaks including the world’s highest peak -Mt Everest.
The illustration about Nepal further writes that Nepal has an ancient culture and traditional architecture, also known for its mesmerizing monasteries, exciting trekking routes, and ethos of religious diversity.
This publicity about Nepal’s travel destination across the world has indeed paved the way for the revival of the tourism industry in Nepal after Covid-19 is subsiding globally.
