3 French climbers missing in Khumbu region

Solukhumbu: At least three French climbers are reportedly missing in the Khumbu region, who had gone to summit the Khangteka peak six days ago.

According to the Solukhumbu district police, the three Fench climbers, who are missing are Thomas, Gabiral, and Luis.

The missing French climbers had an expedition group of eight people, and they had gone on an expedition through the Holiday Himalaya Treks and Expedition Pvt on October 4.

The French climbers had gone out of contact since October 26. The search operation to rescue the missing climbers with the help of a chopper is on according to media reports. The remaining five climbers of the expedition team have already come in contact with the expedition organizing authorities.
