Winter season international flight schedule made public

Kathmandu. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has made public the winter international flight schedule for the airlines.

According to the public schedule, 18 airlines, including two from Nepal, have been allowed to connect Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, to various foreign destinations. The newly approved schedule reveals that the airlines such as Qatar Airways, Himalayan Airlines, and Nepali Airlines have a large number of flights.

Qatar Airs alone is allowed to operate up to five daily flights. An average of 230 flights a year will connect Kathmandu to various destinations. Accordingly, permits have been issued for an average of 33 international flights daily. In this schedule, only two daily flights have been approved for Nepal and India.
