Shortest man set to climb Mt Everest
Kathmandu: The shortest man-Sagar Bishwakarma Sunar- is preparing to climb Mt Everest this spring season to be the world’s shortest man to summit this highest peak in the world.
Sagar, who is 28 years old, with 3 feet 7 inches is a resident of Madi Rural Municipality-11 of Kaski district.
Many differently-abled people have summited the highest peak in the past and Sagar will be the shortest man to create this world record.
Speaking at a program Sagar said, “It has always been a dream of mine to climb the Sagarmatha. I also want to scale the mountain to raise awareness about the natural disasters caused by climate change in the mountain regions, as well as empower short people like me.”
