Tourism minister Ale for tourism development in Sudurpaschim

Kathmandu: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale has said that the tourism sector of Sudurpaschim needs to be developed.

Speaking during a program on Monday, Minister Ale remarked that all efforts must be put in to develop tourism in far western regions of Nepal as this region remains overlooked and ignored for a long time.

Minister Ale also pointed out that the federal and provincial government of Sudurpaschim should come out with concrete development plans in this connection in time without a delay and the locals should move hand in hand with the provincial government.

Likewise, the Minister for internal affairs and the law of Sudurpaschim Province, Purna Joshi said that the locals of this region have already realized the process of development in the province.

This region has famous tourist destinations such as Rara Lake, Khaptad National Park to see the fascinating flora and fauna. Besides, this region also has various Himalayan ranges and peaks to view and climb for tourists.

Observers say the region is still unexplored and remains hidden for the explorers. Tourists can increase in this region if the travel distance between Kathmandu and Sudurpaschim is shortened via airways and roadways.
