Delux tourist hotel being constructed in Beni
Beni: A big hotel in the Dhawalagiri area is about to be built in Bhurung Tatopani of Annapurna Rural Municipality-2 of Myagdi.
Raju Hamal, who has been doing business in Beni, has brought the 57-room capacity Hotel “Natural Spring Pvt Ltd into operation with an investment of Rs 250 million.
He said that the hotel is being constructed with three levels of facilities including Royal, Deluxe, and Ordinary.
A six-story building is being constructed in an area of about eight ropanis. He said that about 65 percent of the work on the physical infrastructure of the hotel has been completed and preparations have been made to formally bring it into operation from next August.
Along with parking and lift facilities at the hotel, a 150-capacity capacity seminar hall, massage, cafe, and local mart will also come into operation.
Operator Hamal informed that 40 people will get regular employment in the first phase after the hotel comes into operation. Although the cost is estimated at Rs 220 million.
Natural hot springs are a tourist’s choice, but the existing hotels are not able to cope with the tourist season, so the large capacity hotel will help in managing the stay of tourists and increasing the duration of the visit.
At present, there are seven large and 15 small hotels in Tatopani that can accommodate up to 400 tourists.
Locals say that the hotel, which is being set up in Tatopani as it covers the Annapurna Round Circuit trail and the only Beni-Jomsom road section to Mustang, will help in arranging comfortable accommodation for tourists and promoting tourism.
