Australia reopens its borders for foreigners
Kathmandu: Australia is most likely to reopen its borders for students and high-skilled workers from Wednesday.
Australia is reported to have decided to open its borders for foreigners with the diminishing cases of Covid-19 after closing its borders for nearly two years following the high risk of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The media reports said the Australian government is going to allow the entry of international students and skilled workers with effect from December 15.
It may be recalled that the Australian government’s earlier decision to reopen its borders from December 1 was put off due to the spreading spree of the new variant of Omicron.
With this new entry permit to Australia, many Nepali students are expected to enter Australia to pursue their further studies.
