Chitwan. The three municipalities, which are among the major tourist destinations in Nepal, are engaged in the promotion of triangular tourism.
The Bharatpur Metropolitan City (BMC) of Chitwan, Pokhara Metropolitan City of Kaski, and Lumbini Cultural Municipality of Rupandehi are involved in the promotion of triangular tourism.
The Bharatpur, Pokhara, Lumbini Golden Triangle Promotion Program has been taken forward under the leadership of Bharatpur Municipal Corporation.
The corporation had also signed agreements with Lumbini and Pokhara municipalities for the year 2020. The BMC has organized a program today and along with announcing the tour package of the BMC, has also launched the Golden Triangle Destination Promotion Program.
Metropolitan Chief Renu Dahal said that the program would be effective in attracting tourists from Lumbini and Pokhara to Chitwan and extending their stay by sending tourists to those destinations.
She said that the metropolis has invested heavily in the construction of infrastructure for the promotion of tourism.
Dahal said that the Bharatpur metropolis is diverse in terms of Nepal’s tourism. Sunrise can be observed from Chowkidanda in Kavilas of Bharatpur and a beautiful view of sunset can be seen from Golaghat.
