All flights affected due to bad weather 

Kathmandu: Most of the domestic flights from the country’s only Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday have been affected due to low visibility, the airport sources said.

Flights have been delayed due to delays in opening some airports. Some airports are not yet open. Due to the bad weather, every flight is being delayed for more than two hours.

The airport authorities further said, “The flights have not been canceled. But all flights have been delayed.”

The fog and cloudy weather condition has badly affected the air services. One of the reasons for foggy weather and low visibility is attributed to incessant snowfall in the hills of Dolpo, Mugu, and Humla, the authorities said.

The cause of flight delay has also been affected due to the existence of only one runway strip at the airport from which many domestic and international flights take off and land even by holding in the air for some time.
