Kathmandu: Incessant snowfall and drizzle across the nation has crippled the normal life for the consecutive two days since Tuesday.
Snowfall in high altitude areas such as Dolpo, Mumla, Jumla and Mugu has crippled the normal life these days. The hill people are confined to their homes due to too cold weather conditions outside their homes.
The Kathmandu area and its surrounding also felt incessant snowfall and rain. The Chandragiri hill is now covered with snow and people from Kathmandu valley are flocking to this area to witness the snowfall.
The people have been stranded at various places due to road blockage following snow fall and rain. Most of the flights have been either cancelled or delayed owing to the low visibility and bad weather said the airport sources.
