The local government has started constructing new structures in the tourist sites to attract tourists. After the lockdown, the travelers have identified new destinations.

The local government has started constructing tourist sites with high priority to fulfill the slogan of the government of Nepal, “Let’s go around the country, let’s know the country”. At present, the Government of Nepal has also arranged leave for the employees to travel.

Tamedanda of Rasnalu in Gogulganga rural municipality of Ramechhap has now become an attractive destination for domestic tourists. Most of the lands of Dolakha including Ramechhapal can be observed from Tamedanda, so this place is the choice of many.

From here, you can get a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains such as Dolakha’s Kalinchok, Hanumante, Shailung, Cherdhunga, Dolakha Bhimeshwar, Mainapokhari Bazaar, Jiri, Haddanda Bazaar as well as Sagarmatha, Gauri Shankar, Ganesh, Jugal, Gauriparvat, Numbur, Gyachung Kang, Pumori, and Annapurna Himal.

Monasteries and shrines have been built here for all. There are natural, religious, and beautiful mountain ranges that can make one forget everything for hours. You won’t feel like returning after reaching here. The cool breeze blows into the heart.

How to reach?

Kathmandu to Charikot Dolakha can be reached on a 132 km road by using any vehicle. After an overnight stay in Charikot, one can reach Jiri which is 55km the next morning by car via Tamakoshi Bazaar, Mainapokhari Bazaar, and Khawadanda.
