Nepal is the best place to spend your winter holidays in winter season. The winter season here begins from mid December to mid-February during which you may visit many places.

This tiny land is blessed with magically fascinating natural beauty, bountiful wildlife, richness of ancient cultures and life styles. Short trekking and hiking can be best option.

Tours and Sightseeing, Jungle and wild life safari, Day hikes and tours are the major tourism activities that is available for winter season in Nepal.

If you are planning trekking in Nepal in winter, then you can go for Everest Base camp and Annapurna Base camp Trek and many other trekking like Langtang Valley Trek, Helambu Trek, Poon hill Trek, Mardi Himal Trek in winter

You can also plan only city tours and sightseeing which may include, Lumbini Tour, Chitwan Tour, Bardia tour, Pokhara Tour etc.

In winter time most of the high Himalayas are full of snow, so high adventure treks are not suitable for winter. Besides, Day tours and Jungle safari Tours are easily doable during this time.

If you wish to play with snowflakes, you can visit the places such as Daman and Chandragiri hills near Kathmandu too.
