Hike in air fuel increases airfare
Kathmandu: Air companies in Nepal have hiked their airfares after a sudden hike in air-fuel prices recently.
Airways have hiked airfares up to Rs 445 per travel following the recently increased price of air-fuel by Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC).
The NOC has increased the air-fuel of domestic flights by Rs 10 per liter, and this is the third time that the air-fuel price has been revised citing various reasons.
According to the new flashed airfare, the one-way trip of Kathmandu-Dhangadhi cost Rs 5,125, an increase of Rs 445 as fuel surcharge. The flight charge of Kathmandu-Bharatpur is now Rs 1,240, an increase of Rs 105 as compared to the existing fare.
