Domestic air fair increases due to hike in aviation fuel
Kathmandu: Nepal Airlines Operators Association has increased airfares.
Two days ago, the Nepal Oil Corporation increased the price of petroleum products and the airline operators announced the new fare.
The corporation had said that the price of aviation fuel would also be adjusted. Along with the price adjustment, the association also announced new fares for domestic flights on Saturday.
According to the new fare, mountain flight from Kathmandu has been increased to Rs 340. Kathmandu-Bhadrapur 300, Kathmandu-Biratnagar 240, Kathmandu-Dhangadhi airfares have been increased by Rs 445.
The new airfare will be effective from Sunday, the association said. The corporation had increased the airfare from Rs 126 to Rs 136 per liter. The increased airfare follows:
