NAC to resume int’l flights
Kathmandu: The only national flag carrier of Nepal, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), in a bid to resume its international flights has given top priority to the restoration of all international flight services.
Most of the NAC flights had remained suspended due to adverse situations created by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the past two years, ever since the Covid-19 broke out from Wuhan province of China and spread to the global arena like a wildfire.
NAC is committed to resuming its flight services as the risk of Covid-19 continues to decline these days as revealed by the NAC authorities. The NAC is reported to be preparing to initiate flights to Bangalore and Mumbai from Kathmandu with effect from 21 and March 29 respectively.
The NAC ensures the operation of two flights on the Kathmandu-New Delhi route from March 14. Similarly, it is working on a plan to add one more flight to the Kathmandu- Narita (Japan) route starting April 1 too.
