Nepal to host ‘Tourism Summit’ in September

Kathmandu: Nepal is preparing to host the “Tourism Summit” in September this year according to the ‘Tourism Recovery Steering Committee-TRSC’

The TRSC sources said that the impending Tourism Summit in Nepal will witness the participation of tourism ministers from various countries that are considered part and parcel in promoting the tourism sector in Nepal.

The mega event is expected to spread a message to the world that the tourism sector in Nepal has now a more conducive environment to receive tourists without any hassle about the fear of the Covid-19 infection.

The summit also will boost up the ailing tourism industry as the participating celebrities from the UK, US, India, and Nepal will contribute to further publicity of Nepal’s major tourist destinations to lure more foreign tourists.

Short tourism-related video clips about Nepal’s major tourist destinations will also be made public to promote publicity around the globe with the support of international media.

It is said that the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale, will be leading the 19 member panel formed by the government to look into this summit and promotion of the tourism industry.
