Kathmandu airport forces waiting visitors to pay Rs 100
Kathmandu: The only Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu in an astonishing manner has started forcing the waiting visitors at the airport to pay Rs 100, who usually come there to see off their relatives.
The independent observers have expressed vocally that such malpractices should have been avoided which is unethical at the airport’s lounge, and should be free of cost.
The waiting lounge charges have been categorized as Rs 50 for the deluxe room and Rs 100 for the superior rooms as per the choice of the visitors.
And those who cannot afford to pay are forced to stand up outside which seems very unusual.
