BBC Master Chef’s team arrives in Nepal
Kathmandu: The BBC MasterChef’s professional team has arrived in Nepal on Thursday on a weeklong tourism-related publicity program to revive the tourism industry hard hit by Covid-19.
Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) welcomed the professional team from Britain at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
The BBC professional team consists of chefs Santosh Shah, Aleks, Bart, and Philippe, who will be engaged in various publicity activities in Nepal for seven days.
The weeklong ‘MasterChef Finalists Tour To Nepal’ campaign has been organized by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).
The professional team of chefs will be engaged in revealing Nepal’s tourist destinations through its original culture and dishes.
Various food pertinent events with the theme of ‘fine dining’ in Kathmandu and ‘Mithila food and recipe’ in Janakpur and in promotional programs on the Tharu culture and dishes in Bardiya will be organized to revive the ailing tourism industry.
