Tourists asked to bring cash for on-arrival visa
Kathmandu: The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Immigration Office has asked all tourists to bring cash for an on-arrival- visa to avoid unnecessary hassle and congestion.
The TIA immigration office said so citing reasons that the electronic transaction could be a lengthy process due to the delayed functioning of the software and the tourists might have to wait for two-three hours at the airport.
The TIA office has asked the tourists to bring 200 US dollars’ worth of foreign currency to make it easier for them to pay for the on-arrival visa.
