The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has targeted especially Nepali tourists with the tourist concept of ‘Amazing Thailand, Amazing New Chapters’ to welcome tourists into the country.
Informing about the new concept on Wednesday, the Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal Vosita Vorasaph pointed out that it was time for both Nepal and Thailand to collaborate in increasing the tourism activities.
Thai ambassador also talked about how the new concept of the tourism promotion campaign can unlock the new amazing experience for the tourists, while Ramesh Thapa, President of Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) speaking during the program said that more direct flights between Thailand and Nepal should be started to connect people of Thailand and Nepal.
The tourists entering Thailand will not need to show the proof of the Negative PCR Report, however, they will have to undergo an RT-PCR test once they land in Thailand at the airport said the Thai ambassador.
More than 70,000 Nepalis visited Thailand in 2019 which is likely to increase as the frequency of flights between the two countries increases.
