Flight operation between Kathmandu and Kunming to resume
Kathmandu: Direct flight operations between Kathmandu and Kunming in China are to resume from May 30.
This was disclosed at a meeting between Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand and the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi on Wednesday.
The direct flights between China and Kathmandu had been suspended following the adverse circumstances created due to Covid-19. Himalaya Airlines had been operating regular flights to China from Nepal.
Minister Khand also thanked the government of China for providing continued support in various fields besides airlines. Chinese envoy Yanqui also reciprocated by expressing her happiness about Nepal’s ongoing local elections.
