Aviation safety is weak says govt committee

Kathmandu: Aviation safety is weak and the airlines companies are performing poorly says a committee formed by the government to look into Nepal’s aviation safety status

The committee further pointed out that the airline companies operating helicopters are more negligent than those operating aircraft.

The government’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation had formed a committee on September 29, 2021, to look into the aviation safety status in the country.

The committee report presented to the Nepal government also indicated that these airlines lack sufficient human resources to perform efficiently.
