‘Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train’ arrives at Janakpurdham on Thursday
Janakpur. The ‘Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train’ carrying Indian tourists arrived in Janakpurdham on July 23.
The train, which left New Delhi on Tuesday evening, reached Janakpurdham on Thursday, said Niranjan Kumar Jha, General Manager of Nepal Railway Company.
The train, which operates on the Ramayana Circuit, will connect Ayodhya, Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Vanaras, Prayagraj, Chitrakuta, Panchavati, Nashik, Hampi, Rameshwaram, and Bhadrachalam religious destinations of India as well as religious areas in Janakpur, Nepal, said, General Manager Jha.
About 500 Indian tourists have come by the ‘Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train’ under the coordination of the Indian Embassy and they are scheduled to visit various religious places in Janakpurdham.
According to the Indian Embassy, each compartment of the train is featured with Indian monuments, dances, dishes, costumes, festivals, flora and fauna, yoga, folk art, and other aspects of Indian art, culture, traditions, and heritage.
