Hungary airlines to land and take off from GBIA from September
Kathmandu: Hungary Airlines’ Wizz Air is preparing to land and take off from Nepal’s second international airport-the Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA)- in Bhairahawa with effect from September 2022.
Currently, Jazeera Airways is operating its air services to and from the GBIA. The GBIA formally came into operation on May 16 on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.
Since then, various international airline companies are reported to have been applying to gear up their services from this airport.
Wizz Air which is known for being the Ultra-low-cost airline in the world will operate flights from and to Bhairahawa and Abu Dhabi.
