Direct flight between Kathmandu and Chengdu resumed

Kathmandu: After an interval of nearly two years, the direct flights between Kathmandu and China’s Chengu -the capital of the Chinese province Sichuan- have been resumed according to the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu.

Nepal’s Civil Aviation authorities informed that the Chinese flight on this route will operate the flights from Kathmandu to Chengu every Sunday.

Chinese tourists can boost the Nepali tourism sector if most of the Chinese visit Nepal. However, it is not happening since Nepal was smitten by the Covid-19 pandemic.
