TIA to see two more int’l flights
Kathmandu: Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) is set to see two more international flights.
Thailand’s Smile Airways is launching its regular flights – Kathmandu-Bangkok with effect from July 1 while Sri Lankan Airlines is to operate its flights from July 6, according to TIA sources.
Both Thai as well as Sri Lankan two international airline companies have already obtained permission to operate regular flights from TIA all seven days a week.
As many as 24 international airlines including two Nepali airlines are currently operating flights from TIA.
