Over 237,000 tourists arrived in Nepal in six months 

Kathmandu: Over 237,000 tourists arrived in Nepal in the first six months starting from January to June 2022.

According to Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), tourist arrivals have seen encouraging improvements as the Covid-19 pandemic has receded and travel restrictions have been lifted in Nepal.

NTB said as many as, 46,957 tourists visited Nepal in June alone. This is 69.3 percent compared to 2019. In July alone, 76 tourists visited Nepal. Nepal does not count Indian nationals coming by land as tourists.
