Everest Inn made at World’s Highest altitude

Kathmandu: The record of the highest hotel in the world has been obtained by ‘Everest Inn Private Limited’. The hotel is located at an altitude of 5,180 meters near Gorakhshep Everest Base Camp in Solukhumbu.

Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Jeevan Ram Shrestha and Nepal Chapter President Sagar Katuwal handed over the official certificate of the record to the managing director of the hotel, Pasang Chhiring Sherpa, on Monday evening.

 Speaking on the occasion, Minister Shrestha said that it is a matter of happiness and pride for all Nepali people to have such a record by a hotel in Nepal.

He expressed his belief that in the future, the hotel will be another base to introduce Nepal. Nothing is visible there except snow in white and stones in black.

There are no crops there. Sherpa said, “Today I am very happy that I have done something in my life because of this program.”
