Hot-air-balloon flights to resume in Pokhara
Kathmandu: A private travel company -Balloon Nepal- is preparing to resume its hot air balloon flights in Pokhara with effect from the month of September this year.
The travel company is restarting its hot air balloon flights in the wake of decreased number of Covid-19 cases. The hot air balloon flights were suspended following spreading cases of the Covid-19 pandemic in the past two years.
According to the company officials, the entire process to reopen the hot air- balloon flights will take some more time as the Monsoon time may not be appropriate for the flights.
The inmates of balloon flights will have to pay an amount of Rs 8000 for the domestic tourists per person, while foreigners are to pay USD 100 per person.
The hot air balloon flight will take around 30-40 minutes and around 8 passengers can be taken on board the flights to enjoy this entertaining flight.
