Cluttered wires to be removed from Thamel

Kathmandu: The cluttered wires in Thamel, the main tourist destination of the capital, will be removed.

A meeting held with the concerned bodies at the office of the Thamel Tourism Development Council on Thursday decided to remove the wires of various service provider companies placed in a haphazard manner within Thamel.

Chairman of the council Bhaviswar Sharma informed that the council is working to solve the problems seen in Thamel in order to make the main tourist center of the capital organized and beautiful.

The meeting also formed a seven-member committee regarding the removal of unnecessary wires of various service provider companies placed in a disorganized manner within Thamel.
