Community led Khopra-Khairlek trek

Raju Pun, an activist of the Khair Bharani Than and Area Protection Fund, said that more than Rs 10 million has been spent on the project of constructing this trek.

Under the leadership of Pun, who is also a retired lieutenant of the British Army, the construction of infrastructure in this area started a decade ago.

Tara Bahadur Armza of Jaljala Rural Municipality-6 Lopre of Parwan said that he helped in the construction of the trek so that it would be easy for people to go since the road to Khayar Bharani, which is a famous religious place and a naturally beautiful area, is difficult.

Khair Bharani, a famous religious place located in the lap of Annapurna and Barah mountains, has become a center for religious tourists.

Khair Bharani Than and Khair Lake, located at an altitude of about 4,700 meters above sea level, are visited by devotees for worshiping and vowing.
