Famous ski-mountaineer Hilaree dies in Manaslu avalanche

Kathmandu: Famous American ski mountaineer Hilaree Nelson died while skiing on Mt Manaslu due to the last avalanche that had hit the Manaslu base camp.

Hilaree had gone missing while skiing when the last avalanche occurred. The dead body of Hilaree was found on Wednesday according to the District Police Office of Gorkha. Her mate Jim Morrison had returned alive to the base camp.

The police reports said that all preparations were being made to transfer her body to Kathmandu.
