Himalaya Airline’s flights from Bhairahawa
The airline started its first flight from Bhairahawa to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia on Thursday carrying 135 passengers. Himalaya Airlines authorities said that it took passengers from Kathmandu on Wednesday night to fly passengers from Bhairahawa on Thursday.
The Himalayan plane landed at Bhairahawa Airport from Malaysia at 12:30 pm and took off from Bhairahawa to Kuala Lumpur at 3:00 pm.
Vijay Shrestha, vice president of the airline, said he was excited to start flights from the country’s second international airport. “We have started the flight operations by conducting an operational audit of the aviation sector,” he said.
