Sanu Sherpa climbs Gangchepo
Kathmandu: Famous mountaineer Sanu Sherpa has successfully climbed Mt Gangchepo which is 6378 meters high from sea level.
The media reports said Sherpa scaled Gangchepo from Sindhulchowk for the first time. Another climber Lal Bahadur Waiba had also accompanied him during the summit.
Sherpa has already set a world record by conquering all 14 higher mountains above 8000 meters twice.
He had climbed Mt Manaslu twice in five days despite suffering from dengue and adverse weather conditions.
