Nepal Airlines for flights from GBIA
Kathmandu: Nepal government’s the only national flag carrier airship, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is preparing to operate its international flights from the Bhairahwa located Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) with effect from the upcoming December.
The GBIA sources at Bhairhawa said the NAC flights are likely from the end of December for which the preparations are underway.
A study regarding NAC’s flights from the GBIA will be finalized very soon according to Janak Raj Kalakheti.
The GBIA has seen very few international flights after its operation. Hence, Nepal Aviation has been directing most of the airline companies to operate their international flights from the Bhairahawa airport too.
Jazeera Airlines and Himalayan Airlines have already started international flights from the GBIA.
