CAAN warns airlines against chartered flights without permit
Kathmandu: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has strictly warned all airline companies against operating chartered flights without its permission.
The CAAN warning notice comes at a time when airline companies have been found indulging in booking chartered flight tickets without taking prior permission from the CAAN and leaving the passengers stranded.
The warning instruction issued by the CAAN says no sales agents are allowed to sell tickets or distribute tickets without permission. In case of infringement of these rules, actions will be taken against the ticket sales agents says CAAN.
