Positive trends in tourist arrivals

The data unleased by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) said as many as 4,73,563 tourists have entered Nepal during the last ten months of 2022 which is indicative of a positive trends developing for tourism sector in Nepal after it got nearly halted due to fear of Covid-19 pandemic  in the past.

The NTB expects that if the present trend of tourist arrivals in Nepal continues then it may go beyond 600,000 by the end of 2022.

The November month is considered to be peak season for tourism. It is also expected that the government goal to recover in tourism sector will be gained as soon as the global tourism will return to its original state in four years.
