Over half million tourists visited Nepal till November

Kathmandu: Over half a million foreign tourists are reported to have visited Nepal during the last eleven months in 2022.

Government officials disclosed that a total of 542,975 foreign tourists from various countries arrived in Nepal within the span of January to November.

The sudden rise in the number of tourists has been due to a sharp decrease in Covid-19 cases across the country and the globe according to Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).

NTB said Nepal is gradually reviving its tourism industry with the increased number of foreign tourists.

The increasing and decreasing trend of tourist arrival in Nepal can be ascertained from the following data unleashed by the Nepal government’s Department of Tourism and NTB.
