New York travel fair introduces Nepali tourism
Kathmandu: Nepali tourism businessmen have organized a travel show in New York, America, to bring back the tourism sector which has been stagnant due to Covid-19 for 2 years.
Various companies from Nepal participated in the program in collaboration with the Travel Bureau of Nepal, taking information and packages of various tourist areas of Nepal.
Pradip Shrestha, the organizer of the New York International Tables Show and US Tourism Ambassador of the Nepal Tourism Board, informed how Nepal’s tourism sector, which is in a state of stagnation, can be brought back to its original state.
In the travel show, cultural costumes of different ethnic groups, cultural dances, materials used during mountain climbing, materials used in trekking, and videos of cultural, religious, historical, and adventure games of Nepal were also presented in the travel show.
In the travel show, together with the Pashupati temple and Swayambhu Stupa of Nepal, cultural costumes of different communities, virgin dance, and the cultural dance of Nepali folklore were displayed.
More than 120 companies from different countries participated in the show. Pradip Shrestha, the CEO of the company and the tourism ambassador, informed that the organizers of the show, which is held every year in the month of October, appointed the Travel Bureau of Nepal as the official agent for Nepal.
