Fog affects flights
Kathmandu. Flights and landings at Tribhuvan International Airport have been affected since early this morning due to fog.
The General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport, Premnath Thakur, informed that both external and internal flights were affected due to low visibility.
He said some planes that could not land have been diverted. He also informed that after the weather improves, flights will land regularly.
According to Meteorologist Govind Jha of the Weather Forecasting Division of the Water and Meteorology Department, there was heavy rain and fog in the morning, but now it is slowly disappearing.
