Jazeera and Himalaya Airlines stopped international flights from Bhairahawa
Kathmandu: International flights from Gautam Buddha International Airport have been suspended. Citing the weather conditions, Jazeera Airways and Himalaya Airlines have suspended international flights.
According to the airport office, Himalayan flights have been suspended since December 16 and Jazeera flights have been suspended since December 21. “The first reason is the weather and the second reason is the lack of passengers,” said the Airport General Manager Govinda Prasad Dahal.
Due to low ‘visibility’, even chartered flights from other countries to Gautam Buddha International Airport have not landed. Air tourists coming to Lumbini, especially for the English New Year have been a problem.
