Mid-Feb set for Lumbini Cable Car operation

Kathmandu: Lumbini Cable Car which links Butwal, Rupandehi to Basantpur and Palpa district will come into operation from Mid-February.

According to Lumbini Cable Car Pvt Ltd Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal, civil construction work of the cable car towers has almost been completed and will be operational from mid-February.

“The connection work of seven out of nine towers has been completed and the connection work of the remaining two towers has also reached the final stage”, said Dhakal.

The construction work of the cable car had started in January 2022.
